I was born in Taipei, Taiwan. At age 9, I moved to Houston with my family. While attending Alief Kerr High School, I fell in love with nursing volunteering at a longterm care facility. To pursue my dream in medicine, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing degree. I started my medical career as an operating room circulating registered nurse. After 3 years of intraoperative care, I decided to advance my career in order to practice what I love: Developing longterm relationships with patients to help them in their journey in achieving their highest emotional and physical wellbeing.

I graduated with Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Georgetown University in 2017. Soon afterwards, I moved to Oregon to practice my trade in a rural health clinic. After 3 years in Oregon, my husband and I became homesick. We decided it was time to return to Texas to be closer to our family.

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with our two ferrets: Oliver and Autumn. When the kits are asleep, I enjoy reading historical novels and playing video games.
