Paula LaHaye rejoins Wellspire as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner providing Primary Care at the Humble location. She is excited to return to Wellspire’s family environment, where professionals across many disciplines come together to provide the best in patient care. With over 21 years as a nurse practitioner including women’s healthcare, primary care, and urgent and emergency medicine, she sees patients of all ages. As a Nurse Practitioner, Paula provides routine checkups, preventive care, health education, and disease management. She is qualified to treat minor injuries, manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and prescribe medications when appropriate.

Ms. LaHaye prioritizes establishing open and collaborative relationships with her patients. They say her calm bedside manner, attentive listening skills, and straightforward guidance create a relaxing environment in which they feel heard, understood, and included in their health care decisions. Working cooperatively with each patient allows her to provide an optimum treatment plan. She says one of the most satisfying aspects of her practice is when patients bring family members—children, siblings, and aging parents—to see her for medical care.

Paula is originally from central Louisiana and now resides in Kingwood with her family. She enjoys spending her free time cooking and all things Disney.
