Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Cristian Romero moved from Lake Charles, Louisiana to Houston to open Wellspire’s Cypress office in November 2021. Dr. Romero is committed to delivering and coordinating the most high-quality and efficient care for his patients. He prioritizes educating his patients on disease prevention. Dr. Romero is highly regarded for his medical knowledge, wonderful bedside manner, and caring nature. He works tirelessly to determine the underlying cause and proper treatment for each patient’s medical condition. Patients value his ability to listen, explain diagnoses and treatment options, and respond to questions. They also appreciate the efficiency and friendliness of his practice. A native of Ecuador, Dr. Romero completed his undergraduate and medical school training in the beautiful city of Cuenca before moving to New York for his residency in Internal Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as traveling.
