Dr. Han Kang is a fellowship-trained endocrinologist, board-certified in internal medicine, and dedicated to serving the Northeast Houston community. He was drawn to medicine because it allows him to combine his interest in science and problem-solving with a meaningful opportunity to help others. He believes in treating each patient as an individual, not simply as a diagnosis. By listening carefully to each person’s concerns and goals, Dr. Kang explains medical conditions and treatment options clearly and works with his patients to develop practical, evidence-based care plans.

After attending Mercer University School of Medicine, Dr. Kang completed his internal medicine residency through Mercer University School of Medicine and subsequently moved to Texas for his fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He enjoys caring for patients across all areas of endocrinology, with particular interests in diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity, and osteoporosis. He finds it most rewarding to build long-term relationships and help patients progress from feeling overwhelmed to feeling confident about managing their health. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kang enjoys reading, fitness, racquet sports, and spending time with family and friends.
