Jennifer Burbridge is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Wellspire Medical. With over 18 years of advanced clinical and leadership experience, she has practiced in family medicine, endocrinology, surgery, and wound care, bringing a well-rounded approach to patient health. Jennifer is dedicated to educating patients and families, closing care gaps, and delivering personalized care that supports both immediate needs and long-term wellness.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She has held certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2004 and is wound care certified (WCC). Over the course of her career, Jennifer has also served in leadership roles, training and supporting advanced practice providers, writing care protocols, and leading clinical programs to improve outcomes for complex and chronic conditions.

Her clinical expertise spans preventive care, management of chronic illnesses such as diabetes, COPD, and heart failure, as well as advanced wound care including debridement and the use of cellular tissue products. She has worked extensively in both clinic and home-based settings, giving her unique insight into patient-centered care across different environments.

Outside of her professional life, Jennifer enjoys time with family and brings her compassionate, patient-first philosophy into every aspect of her practice.
